Life is better together

Small Groups are the core of Brazos Pointe Fellowship. Small Groups are where we connect people with people. We believe that we grow spiritually in the context of community. Our groups study together, play together, serve together and minister together.  We honestly believe that life is better together.

At Brazos Pointe, we have six core values that drive us and our small groups ministry. We offer a Rooted Experience to help prepare new members to small groups before placing into a permanent group. Our Small Groups meet weekly in order to grow strong, healthy relationships. Serving with Small Groups

Groups that serve grow together

These were his instructions to them: “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” Luke 10:2

We are appreciative of the serving hearts we have in our ministry. It starts with following your calling to become a small group leader or host home. Small group leaders and hosts are the ones that make it possible for our groups to gather and grow. This commitment is not taken lightly but so worth the journey, if it’s your next step. As a small group, you will also serve in our community alongside each other.

We continue to work with our global local ministry so we can offer serving opportunities for small groups throughout each semester. Our global local ministry is available to help small groups find where their hearts are passionate for serving.

At the end of February or towards the beginning of March, small groups and church members will sign up for a ministry project with Servolution.These projects are to take place completely outside of Brazos Pointe Fellowship. It might include one of our Ministry Partners, a school, a city, or an individual who does not attend our church.

Stay connected during the Year

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts2:46-47

Our Adult Small Groups operate on a system of trimesters.We have Our Fall semester starts up in September and meets until the week prior to Thanksgiving. We then break for Christmas and start up our Winter Semester in January ending in the week of Servolution. We take a Spring Break for two weeks after our Servolution Sunday and head into Spring Semester.

Our goal is to help you find the community you connect with well. Once you connect with a small group, we recommend to attend for at least a semester. It takes time to build relationships and community. We also understand there are busy seasons in life and we hope to help make those transitions as smooth as possible.
