The nextSTEP capital campaign was completed four months ago, yet gifts continue to come in along with progress on the nextSTEP initiatives and projects. So here’s another update:

The latest nextSTEP News

Work began last week on the final project of nextSTEP – renovation of our façade. The massive awnings that were removed are being replaced by simpler updated ones over the worship and children’s entrances. The facelift also includes a new sign and lighter paint color. After the construction dust settles we plan to add some landscaping as well.

A few other smaller upgrades remain in the Worship Center Foyer and Children’s area. All nextSTEP projects are expected to be completed by the end of the summer.

Gifts Exceed Pledges!

Total pledges and gifts last year for nextSTEP were $468,687. As of July 1 $477,156 had been received. We exceeded our pledges by nearly $8500…and more gifts continue to come in. Your nextSTEP gifts:

Provided the down payment for “Safe Haven”
Retired the land debt on our 48 acre property on Hwy 332
Upgraded our Dixie Dr. facilities

Remaining nextSTEP gifts will:

Provide part of the funding for a Master Plan for our future home (Other gifts have already ensured this will happen and potential architects are being interviewed this month).
